Location - proximity to harbour and Ohope beach. My husband wanted to fish but in the end the weather was against us. The room was huge with enough space to sit and a table to eat at. It was the only hotel on our trip which provided a unit large enough to take both our suitcases so we could unpack comfortably.
It had a bit of a back packer feel about it and not a lot of character.

The staff here were really friendly and gave me some good tips on what to check out. My room was clean and had a nice cozy feel to it, with a single bed and a little kitchen area. And the best part was, they had a bunch of yummy meals to choose from 🍔.

we stayed in a standard room and it was just perfect for the time we spent. our room was clean and tidy and we particularly like the eco friendly tips and actions we could do during our stay. this is a beautifully presented motel and staff were friendly.

Welcoming and friendly staff, just what you'd hope for. the location is super convenient, right in the middle of everything. Plus, you've got the Wagon for takeaway nearby - so handy! 🙌

It was handy to the centre of town, clean and modern
The bed was not that comfortable. A mattress topper pad and flannelette sheets would have made it more cosier and comfy as it was mid winter and freezing temperatures.

The room had comfortable beds, a TV set, and a lounge area; a peaceful location with the airport 15 km away made it convenient.

I thought the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast at the cafe onsite was lovely and the site was close enough to town for a lovely evening stroll and dinner at one of the local pubs, then a stroll back to relax.

The room was large and clean.
I hated the bathroom. It had one of those showers with a drain in the floor but no enclosure except a curtain. No matter what one does, the entire bathroom floor gets wet. Also, the bathroom had no fan. This was not a budget room and for the price I paid I expected a modern bathroom.

the unit was noisy from the upstairs . the top blue bed cover had a stain on it and the spare pillows looked dirty.

It's easy to find, beside the main road.and the parking is free, wifi is free for four hours.
It 's nosiy, very easy to listening the other room's sound, so if you intend to wake lately, it didn't comfort you.
